CAUTION: - An excess of HEAT, SPEED or PRESSURE can cause premature failure of any drill bit.

 

Always apply coolant to the drill point. Cooling the drill bit can be accomplished by either submerging in a dish of water while drilling, or building a localized reservoir using putty or a caulking compound. For best results, a steady flow of water over the area being drilled.

To start a hole, begin by gently kissing the glass until clouding appears, increase the pressure and continue drilling. Throughout the drilling cycle, oscillate the drill up and down, decrease pressure near the finish.
For the best results use in a drill press.
